MALIN+LYNN is a residential architecture and interiors practice co-founded by Chelsie Malin and Peter Lynn. We focus on creating high-end and truly bespoke homes across London.

Chelsie Malin

Chelsie co-founded MALIN+LYNN in 2022 having worked at award-winning practices Adjaye Associates, Piercy&Co and Thirdway Architecture. During the pandemic, Chelsie started her own practice designing high-end residential architecture in North London, but collaborated with Peter to expand across sites, contexts and clients.

Throughout her previous experience she delivered multi-million pound residential, retail and commercial projects for both private and developer clients. By doing so she has overseen everything required from concept to completion. Her passion for Grade II listed buildings has culminated from extensive experience in this field, amalgamating the old with the new.

Chelsie studied at Nottingham University (Part I) and the University of Westminster (Part II & III) with Distinction.  Her core strengths are balancing meticulous detail in both design and finish, focusing on the raw material and celebrating existing features. In addition and what she finds most vital to a new project is building strong and lasting personal relationships with clients and guiding them through the process.

Peter Lynn

Prior to co-founding MALIN+LYNN, Peter worked for one of the Netherlands' top residential and urban planning practices, before moving back to the UK in 2013. He then spent seven years working at some of the leading high-end residential architecture practices in West London, including most recently Icon Architects in Fulham.

During this period, he led over £10m of residential projects, gaining extensive experience managing everything required from inception to completion, coordinating between clients, builders, and suppliers.

Peter's core strengths are building a strong personal relationship with his clients, balancing a concern for careful detail in both design and finish, as well as also being able to manage complex and fast-moving building projects.

During the pandemic, Peter launched his own practice in 2020, with a focus on creating high-end and truly bespoke family homes in the South London area, where he now lives, before merging with Chelsie to create MALIN+LYNN, a design practice reaching a wider footprint within London.
